About Jo

Jo Stilwell graduated from the University of Sydney in 1993. She has worked primarily in private practice and moved to Canberra in 2000, where she worked in a chronic pain management clinic whilst completing a Graduate Diploma of Science in Medicine (Pain Management). She then moved into musculoskeletal private practices before finding her niche in the exercise rehabilitation field.

Jo has worked in the exercise rehabilitation field utilising Pilates equipment for the last 10 years. She has completed clinical pilates training (levels 1-4) through DMA, mat classes through APPI and Pilates Institute of QLD. She returned for more Pilates training through Polestar Pilates, something she had wanted to do for a long time and completed this in 2021. This strengthened her love of pilates as she had to do 100 hours of self-mastery and she felt the benefit of it!

Jo believes in getting the foundations right before layering up the challenge and strength to optimise your ability to perform the tasks that are important to you in your daily life.
