Clinical Exercise Sessions
Clinical exercise sessions are pilates based and utilise traditional pilates equipment such as the reformer, trapeze table, wunda chair and barrel. These exercises are blended with traditional physio rehab exercises as well. An initial assessment is required before commencing to establish goals and to identify areas that require strengthening, motor control and/or flexibility. An individualised treatment and exercise plan is devised, specific to your needs to produce optimum results.
Following an introduction to the program and equipment most people can move on to the small group sessions (up to 4 people) with each person working on their individualised program to help rehabilitate their current injuries and/or medical condition. These sessions will be run under physio supervision allowing continual monitoring and adjusting as needed. Whilst progress is closely monitored during these sessions, reassessment is recommended on a regular basis to upgrade the program for continued improvement.
Key features:
- Sessions run for 55 minutes.
- Maximum of 4 clients, all doing an individualised program.
- Pass bookings are made for the same each week for 10 weeks.
- Casual rates available if you are unable to commit for 10 consecutive weeks.
- Claimable on Private health insurance, subject to your cover.

Strength and Balance Circuit
These sessions may involve some of the large studio pilates equipment (such as the reformer and trapeze table or wunda chair) as well as mat based exercises, weights and small apparatus with all participants working through a circuit of exercises. All participants will do the same circuit, although exercises can be modified slightly depending on client level. An assessment is undertaken prior to these sessions to assess your physical ability and will also involve an introduction to the exercises and equipment.
Key features:
- The circuit class is suitable for those with no injuries.
- All clients doing same circuit, modified slightly depending on your physical ability.
- Maximum of 6 participants, 45-minute duration.
- 10 week pass, bookings made for same time each week.
- Casual rates available if you are unable to commit to 10 consecutive weeks.
- Claimable on private health insurance, subject to your cover.
